Acnelak Cream is a medication for the dealing of mild to moderate cases of acne. It may also be approved to treat infections that are caused by fungi, microorganisms, and bacteria. It is a combination medication of two drugs known as clindamycin and zinc acetate. Clindamycin is used to deal with microorganism and bacterial infection, while zinc plays a significant role in cell division and breakdown of carbohydrates.
Action mechanism of Acnelak Clz
Clindamycin classified under the lincomycin category of drug, which restrains the synthesis of necessary bacterial proteins thereby stopping bacterial growth. In addition to the killing of bacteria, clindamycin put off the spread of infection by lowering the free fatty acids on the skin surface that choke the pores of the skin and encourage overgrowth of bacteria. On the other hand, Zinc stops the absorption of copper from the food into the body.
Dosage regimen of Acnelak Clz cream
Acnelak Clz is the topical preparation that comes in the form of 15gm cream packed in a tube. Wash out the hand before and after applying the cream on the affected area. Squeezed the tube and take out a small amount of cream on fingertips. Now spread it on the affected area in the form of layer by applying massage with the help of fingertips. Apply daily it at the same time most probably at nighttime.
Side effects of Acnelak Clz
You may experience some unwanted side effects like as of dryness, itching, skin redness, blistering, peeling of skin, skin inflammation, and swelling of the face, lips, and tongue.
Safety measures need to take
- Do not use Acnelak Clz if you are allergic to clindamycin or zinc present in the cream.
- Do not use acnelak along with any facial products.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, then avoid the use of Acnelak.
- Avoid the use of acnelak cream on cuts, burned and chopped skin.
